Richfield, OH - July 26, 2007 - Snap-on Business Solutions (SBS), a division of Snap-on, Inc., and ADP Lightspeed, a business unit of ADP, Inc. (NYSE: ADP), today announced that PartsManager Pro™ (Parts & Accessories) is now available to Lightspeed customers.
Powersports dealers who subscribe to the PartsManager Pro Accessories Catalog will now have a seamless interface with their Lightspeed dealer management system. The new interface allows dealers to view quantities and pricing information directly from their Lightspeed system while using the PartsManager Pro Accessories Catalog. Dealers will have the ability to submit pick lists directly to their Lightspeed system with the touch of a button, eliminating the need for double posting. The combination of ADP Lightspeed and Snap-on Business Solutions' PartsManager Pro will increase dealer efficiency and productivity.
PartsManager Pro provides electronic accessories data from the leading powersports OEMs and aftermarket distributors. Currently, accessory catalogs are offered for Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, Fox Racing, Tucker Rocky and Helmet House. SBS will migrate to the new generation PartsManager Pro in 2007 replacing the highly successful FicheFinder parts catalog. Dealers will have the luxury of viewing both parts and accessories from a single platform.
"The integration with the PartsManager Pro Parts and Accessories Catalog is just one more way we can help dealers increase their efficiency." said Laurn Rice, Vice President and General Manager at ADP Lightspeed. "We hope to offer dealers the best possible solutions to meet their needs."
According to Scott McEwen, Vice President, Snap-on Business Solutions, Inc. "The Lightspeed interface to PartsManager Pro is another step in supporting our parts and accessory initiative. The addition of the Lightspeed interface is exactly what the dealers have requested; to provide them a tool to help sell more parts and accessories that seamlessly interfaces with the popular Lightspeed dealer management system. The partnership of ADP Lightspeed and Snap-on Business Solutions continues to grow to bring about the best solutions to the powersports industry."
